Following on the completion of the Salone OIM Library Project in October, 2025, My Oral Village was featured in the 2025 financial inclusion newsletter of the central bank. The article states that the project “broke new ground in helping illiterate women in Sierra Leone access financial services with confidence”. “The project proves that OIM tools can be scaled nationally while remaining user-friendly and culturally relevant” it continues, and suggests integrating OIM future financial literacy programming.
